Dear Families,

I was privileged to attend a citizenship ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall earlier this week. It was incredibly heart-warming to see a group of people with such a rich diversity of culture and heritage come together to embrace British culture and for British culture to return that embrace so warmly. It was also a profound reminder of how lucky we are to live in such a diverse community and all the cultural wealth that brings, something that should always be celebrated. This time of year can mean so many different things to people, but whatever that meaning might be, it should always be a time of kindness and coming together to support one another, key values for us at JKPS.

What a term it has been! I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the children for everything they have achieved on their learning journeys these past months, to thank all of our staff for everything they have done to support the children on those journeys, and to thank all our families for coming together to support our school so passionately. In particular, thank you so much to the Friends of Judith Kerr and all those who have been so generous with their time and commitment to helping us develop and grow; we are hugely grateful.

Please see below for some key dates coming up and  some pictures of the festivities that have been happening in school this week.

So until January...

Schöne Feiertage und Frohes Neues Jahr!

Key messages:

Please note. School re-opens on Tuesday, 7th January.

Thank you to everyone who donated for our Christmas Shoe Box Drive in the last weeks. The gifts were packed diligently by our Year 6's and thank you to our parents who helped out with the wrapping and delivery. The Shoe Boxes will have made a real different to some children's Christmases. Thank you.
