A warm welcome

Wilkommen! Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Judith Kerr Primary School (JKPS). Our school is a warm, inclusive, and nurturing community where every child is supported to meet their potential. It is a place where we offer a rich curriculum that is inspiring and relevant, challenging minds and raising aspirations. The staff at JKPS are dedicated to providing a stimulating and exciting environment in which everyone can feel happy and safe. We want our pupils’ time at JKPS to be memorable and we provide a caring environment where every child is valued as an individual and where diversity is celebrated. 

Language, and specifically bilingualism, is incredibly important to us. We recognise the extensive benefits that learning an additional language offers, helping grow minds and bring cultures together, and we believe that bilingualism and multilingualism can be for everyone. We welcome children of all language abilities, whether they are new to speaking German, or they have spoken German at home since infancy.  

Our school community is incredibly proud of our school and its achievements, and together we are all dedicated to supporting the school to realise its vision. The passion and collaboration of all stakeholders has led to a very close community that works tirelessly to achieve the best for all its children. We are proud to be part of the Anthem Schools Trust, working in collaboration with a family of other primary and secondary schools to deliver the best possible education for our children.
